New York: The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), launched this October 2021, can detect ammonia around six gas dwarf planets after only a few orbits, thus detecting possible signatures of life on other planets  It takes less than 60 hours.

Did? Gas dwarf planets have the ability to promote life.

Gas dwarf planets have the ability to promote life. Since none of these super-Earths or mini-neptunes exist within our solar system, scientists struggle to determine if there are ammonia in their atmosphere and other possible signs of living things.

"I was really surprised about the results that we could actually find signs of life on other planets over the next 5 to 10 years," said Ohio State University graduate student Caprice Phillips.

He will share the preliminary findings at a press conference during the 2021 APS April meeting.

He and his team modeled how the JWST instrument would respond to different clouds and atmospheric conditions, then produced a list of locations where the telescope should search for life.

"Mankind has pondered the questions, are we alone? What is life? Is life the same as us?"

Phillips said. "My research shows that for the first time, we have real scientific knowledge and technical abilities to find answers to these questions."

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope has kept all the harsh conditions associated with the rocket launch alive in space, prior to its October 2021 launch.  Recent tests of the Web have confirmed that the fully assembled observatory will tolerate the deafening noise and mess that shake, tingling, and vibration that the observatory will experience during liftoff according to NASA.

The telescope is the world's largest, most powerful and complex space science telescope ever built.

It is designed to help unravel the mysteries of our solar system, beyond the distant worlds surrounding other stars, and investigate the mysterious structures and origins of our universe.
